ZONING ADMINISTRATOR - TOWN OF JEROME seeks full-time Zoning Administrator to provide zoning administration, code enforcement, field work and technical office duties. Successful candidate will work with the Planning and Zoning Commission, Design Review Board and Board of Adjustment, and attend evening meetings as needed. Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills required. GIS experience a strong plus. Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Direct experience with Zoning Code and Building Code enforcement is highly desirable.Salary DOQ.

Experience with water and/or sewer utilities helpful. Work involves heavy digging, heavy lifting, extensive walking, climbing and working in a variety of environments. Wages DOQ, plus benefits. Jerome Public Library

Job Title:  Community Art Director / Library Clerk, Part Time Position

Hours:  Flexible scheduling, averaging 6 hours a week, some weekends and evenings.

Salary:  $12/hr.

Job Description:  Coordinate and facilitate a Community Art Program for children and adults with volunteer artists at the Jerome Civic Center / Jerome Public Library. Reports to and works under the direction of the Library Director.

Facilitation includes: recruit artists, market, promote, schedule, register participants and organize art supplies & space pre and post events.

Also, assist with customer service in the library, including using the library’s computer system, shelving system and daily operations.

Experience Required:  Works well with children, communicates well and able to engage with the community.  Organizational skills and basic computer skills, including: working with the public on email, searching the internet and Word. 

Preferred: Teaching art and artistic skills.
