About Jerome's Government:

The Town of Jerome is a council-manager municipality. The Town Council consists of five Council members, one of whom is designated as Mayor. The Mayor and four council members are elected for two year terms.
Under the council–manager form of government, the Town Council is responsible for the legislative function of the municipality such as establishing policy and passing local ordinances. The Town Council, which is voted into office by public elections, appoints a professional manager to oversee the administrative operations, implement its policies, and advise it.
